Family/Domestic Relations
Family Law (Child Custody & Divorce)
The problem
A relationship does not go as planned and two individuals find themselves trying to separate their lives. Televisions can go there, and furniture can go here, but the beautiful child they made together cannot be split in two. Children routinely find themselves in the middle of adult problems with no one to speak for their best interests. Or, a child has experienced abuse, or his parents can no longer care for him. He needs someone with specialized knowledge and experience to advocate on his behalf.
Our response
Our firm’s commitment to justice and wholeness becomes particularly relevant in child custody cases. The parents may disagree, but it is essential that they always keep the child’s best interests at the forefront. We pledge to advocate zealously on behalf of the clients we represent, but not at the expense of the child’s well-being. In addition, our attorneys have been trained as Guardian ad Litems and are equipped to operate as the child’s voice in a domestic child custody or child welfare case.
